more details » Friday Folk Dancing in St Anne's Church Hall, Starting at 8.00, going on to 11.00. (The hall is behind the church, please park in the road). You don't need to be an expert (all dances are walked through first) but it does help if you know your left from your right. We're a lively group but not not as energetic as a ceilidh Do join us if you would like to try sociable folk dancing You don't need to become a member. Membership costs £2.00 p.a. (until July 2010 then it rises to £3.00) members save 50p a time) We do a range of folk dances, usually English, ometimes Playford style and some Scottish, American, Irish, International, etc. The callers are club and guest callers. The music often live, sometimes recorded. We hold three of four dances most months. No need to book - just turn up (Ring first to ensure dance is being held) Friday Folk is a club run by its members.
